1. Can I wire money into my online account? If so, what is the process and what is the maximum amount?
Yes. A wire transfer must be conducted in a branch. The maximum amount to wire is the maximum allowed on deposit. For details on wire transfer fees, please refer to the Consumer Fee Schedule. You can wire funds into your account only if the account the money is sent from is also in the name of the Provident account owner. Wires can not be received from third parties, including escrow accounts and title companies.

2. I tried to transfer funds from my existing Provident account into my new Provident account, but I was unable to complete the transfer. What do I need to do?
To request the ability to transfer funds between Provident accounts, please complete and submit a Transfer Capability Set Up form.

NOTE: This form is only for transfer capability between Provident accounts; it does not allow you to specify transfer capability between Provident and non-Provident accounts. If you opened a new online savings or money market account using another account (either at Provident or another institution), then within a week after the new account has been opened we will set up transfer capability between your new account and the account you used to fund the new online account.

If you funded using an external account, we will also give you ability for you to set up external transfers between your Provident account and additional accounts you own at other financial institutions. This external transfer capability is not available for checking accounts.
